As news of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) epidemic in China travels around the world, it seems like we have heard this before. Avian bird flu, swine flu, SARS, MERS, HERS, YOURS,๐Ÿ˜€ (Just kidding on the last 2).

What do these viruses have in common? They are not all coronaviruses, but some are (SARS and MERS). They all can be passed from person to person, especially the HERS and YOURS viruses.๐Ÿ˜€ Many of them started in animals and then got transmitted to people.

What else do they have in common? These viruses are all susceptible to the same kind of treatment. What is that treatment? Principally vitamin C. There are other cofactors that help, but the main thing is vitamin C. Dr. Thomas Levy, MD, JD wrote the definitive book, Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, & Toxins: Curing the Incurable back in 20021. In his book he documents the many situations in which vitamin C is curative.

What are people dying from with the 2019 coronavirus? It is viral pneumonia, a viral infection of the lungs. In his book on vitamin C Dr. Levy wrote that Dr. Frederick Klenner was successfully treating viral pneumonia with vitamin C back in the 1940s. Dr. Klenner reported on 42 cases back in 1948. Seems that we don’t learn very fast. But those who don’t learn from history are destined to repeat it.

Could it be that something as simple and as common as vitamin C could end this epidemic that has infected more than 20,000 people and killed more than 400? Sometimes the most simple things are indeed the most profound.

Who is at risk? The elderly who are malnourished and any adults that already have a disease are particularly vulnerable. Prevention with a strong, healthy immune system is the first step to risk avoidance.

If you come down with a serious virus, like the 2019-nCoV, there are a few things you can do to help yourself. What you need to do is supply your immune system with the ammunition it can use to fight off the infection.

First, take vitamin C. If you have access to Liposomal Vitamin C, use that. Between 2,000 and 5,000 mg of vitamin C in this form per day, depending on severity of symptoms, will help boost your immune system tremendously. You can use intravenous vitamin C as well, but that isn’t so readily available. Dr. Thomas Levy in a lecture said, “I proved to my satisfaction that 5-6 grams of properly encapsulated liposomal vitamin C taken orally had a greater clinical impact than a 50 gram infusion.”2

I would combine the liposomal vitamin C with some sodium ascorbate powder, mixed in water, as well. Two or three teaspoons of this powder a day will get your overall intake over 10 grams a day of vitamin C. Be generous with yourself, as extra vitamin C is better than not enough. The sodium ascorbate form is gentler on the stomach and isn’t as prone to give you diarrhea, the only side effect of too much vitamin C.

Second, take Silver Biotics. This product is a nano-silver product, not a colloidal silver. It is similar, but the research done on Silver Biotics demonstrates that it lives up to its billing as an excellent way to help your immune system deal with viral and bacterial infections. Just a couple teaspoons three times a day has been shown to be very helpful in dealing with infections in Ghana3.

There is more that you can do, but when you are feverish and sick, you don’t feel like doing much. That was my case when I contracted a serious viral infection after doing a week of mission work in Nicaragua this past December. Symptoms were consistent with Dengue fever, contracted from a mosquito. It isn’t passed between people, unlike the corona viruses. Vitamin C, both liposomal and as sodium ascorbate, was my main immune booster. Oh, and some fresh orange juice that my girls made for me. And after 5 miserable days the fever lifted without complications. And that was that. Now, I’m not really a malnourished elderly person, so the risk was not high.

If the fever had gone on longer I would have added in the Silver Biotics, which I had run out of, the Hallelujah Diet Glutathione Promoter, high doses of Vitamin D and Nascent Iodine. For a vulnerable person the whole team of nutrients is more important, because they are likely deficient and lacking several nutrients. I regularly take iodine in milligram amounts and vitamin D at about 5,000 IU per day, so these were not really lacking.

So, you should take proactive steps to get back the health you were created to have, or keep taking steps to maintain that health if you already have it. You cannot take good health for granted. Be prepared and keep a Hallelujah Diet Super Immune Booster Kit on hand.

Following the Hallelujah Diet all of the time will keep your immune system in excellent working order, so that it can spring into action and protect you when, not if, a virus comes along. You don’t have to live in fear of becoming a statistic, or succumbing to viral pneumonia.

As it says in Proverbs 1:32-33, spoken by wisdom personified:
“For the turning away of the simple will slay them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them;
But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

Instead be this person in Proverbs 9:9
“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser;
Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.”
